yea, I did the same thing. Except filed just a little bit so I can get the metal casing through. Seems to work.

they've withstood mountain touge driving, 120+ degree ambient heat, below freezing temps, and haven't budged.

Can you post a pic? I used one of the mounts and found a pretty slick spot, but then when I went to close the hood I realized that I did not account for the hood rod.

One on the wheel tub under my short ram intake the other perpendicular to my battery. That battery side is a ***** and I have no room. I should probably do the secondary air pump delete to make room. lol

Anybody have HID fogs? Where did you put those ballasts? And does putting an aftermarket HID kit cancel any warranty?

On the '02's there was a little shelf when you pull the headlight out, I put mine right there. The headlight sits on top and keeps it from bouncing around.
