I hear you on drift0 but drag racing?
It's ok I understand it is not your thing but these two should not be compared.
The STi does well at drag racing where drifting or trying is just stupid. A lot of us here in the BAIC really like drag racing our cars so while it might not make sense to you, it's def a formidable car at the strip.

me, yeah.
I appreciate it but those times suck man. A stock STi is supposed to do a 13.5 and I had a tune, turboback, and a few misc small things at that race. I should have been able to hit a 13.0 with the decent launch I had (1.7). I can do 1.6's but that as you know was the first drags of the season and while I am no pro I was rusty.

I understand 100% where you are coming from. My mom had a C5 99 vette which she let me daily drive one summer. I LOVED it, honestly the most fun car Ive ever driven, but I feel MUCH more at ease in the corners with the subie.
