I'm 34 and never wore leather pants in the 80's. I do remember those nylon parachute pants though.

Yeah, try a costume shop or one of those cowboy places.

I never rocked that glam gay rocker style...never appealed to me.

I was rockin body glove, vision street wear, gotcha, jimmy'z, etc. Ahhh, those were the days.

I'm 25, so I don't remember too much.

The coolest things I remember from the 80's:

HyperColor T-Shirts (they used to change colors in different temps)
Color Changing Hotwheels (big fad, dip'em in ice water and they changed)
Everything was going clear (they had clear this crystal that::IE Crystal Pepsi)
Dinosaurs were big (jurasic park)
GI JOE, Transformers, Go Bots for big kids :: Smurfs, Care Bears for little guys

Rap Came Out (whatever you call it...hip hop, R&B, whatever)
Grunge Started at the end there

Most of those things will only be remembered by people who were actually sensient in the 80's though. You'd be pretty original if you showed up with some Crystal Pepsi I bet.

dude...IT'S OOOK... you dont have to lie about your "costume". So what, the FOLSOM STREET FAIR is just around the corner. it's oook. There's no shame with your leather fetish. LOL!!! j/k

I was a kid in the 80's I wore HUSKY jeans!!!!

Try checking second hand stores or thrift stores (i.e. buffalo exchange, crossroads, savers, salvation army)...that's where I got my stuff for my costume last year

Umm, you're thinking 90's for the most part... Crystal Pepsi didn't come out until '92 and Jurassic Park hit the theatres in '93 and started the whole dinosaur craze. The toys you mentioned I can't vouch for because I was already way too old for that stuff in the 80's...
