I love it how people here cry about too much force and how the police has to much power...oh please. The crack head had it coming. Dude is the officer of the law and he was doing his job, that whole time the fight was going on not even one car pulled over to help stop the fight until the end. Everyone was probably like "it's ok, let the police handle it" and when the cops finally do end up knocking some sence into some these people...they get criticized for using methods that work...sucks to protect the people sometimes...

anywho, i didn't mind her getting hit by the baton or getting maced. she was getting in the way of the cop doing his job and kept approaching him. but when he grabbed her by her pants and lifted her up, dropping her on her face that was going too far.

 

Both videos the idiots deserved all the excess force that was thrown towards them.

Doesnt make it legal though. Cops should be reprimanded and you can bet your *** lawyers will sue based on those videos.

Ive seen a cop take down a 6,5 300+ pound guy that was wailing on 4 security guys outside the Mission Ale house a couple years back with a simple baton. He was so nonchalant when doing it too. Didnt let any emotion get in the way of doing his job. Ive also seen cops manhandle and take out their personal anger on drunk patrons.

In the end the fault lies with the victims. If you dont want to get headstomped by cops, then dont drink to excess and stay out of trouble spots.

The cop had the jump on her, she turned around because she heard footsteps, not to sweep his leg and take him down. Between the head of steam and size advantage, the cop only needed to nudge her up against the wall and slap on restraints.

 

but if you actually think about it, the acts those people were doing the cops would take it seriously too.. who knows what they have. yeah its a bit of a power trip. for example on a medical call a guy had his head cracked open and was fighting the medics and FF's and the cop yelled and strapped him down saying youre turning a medical to a crime call. seemed a bit far but was needed given the situation

Sadly most cops are little *****es because they were losers in highschool and have no hopes of other decent paying jobs.

You can just tell that cop has an insane amount of aggression, and sadly 3 out of 4 cops are like this in my experience. People can argue whatever they want but the truth is there was no need for that, the girl was probably freaking out after being choked for so long. He totally couldn't have stopped her any otherway......

Cops are dicks, thats why nearly everyone hates them.

you dont know if the officer knows the lady,you dont know if she has been a problem in the past.
you all complain yet not one person actually knows what it takes to do the job. was it a little over kill,maybe. dont like the way SOME cops act,do something about it or invent tools for them to use. frankly he should have just tazed her.

unless youve been bitten,gassed(**** and **** thrown) or had someone sling blood in your face and then claim t he have HIV you just wouldnt understand how things work. the HIV protocol is the worst thing ever.
ive processed a vallejo hooker who had officers scared becuase she claimed to have HIV and said she would spit/bite anyone who touched her. while running her prints she tried to bite me,which i blocked. she then tried to spit in my face/mouth,so she caught an elbow and was KTFO. did i feel bad,nope. do i care if people who are to scared to do the job themselves judge me,nope. do i break any laws,nope.

I've also processed many with HIV and HEP C and they are the worse to deal with, as a precaution to protect yourself you have to handle them as soon as they start the slightest bit of resistance. And I agree people don't realize what it takes to do this job, I would gladly accept that Officer as my partner anyday, he got on scene controlled the situation and took care of business, I see nothing wrong.
