hey guys. quick q.

i was doing a couple dounuts today... *warming up the tires and all* ...

anyways, i was spinning around and i heard a lot of knocking. i'm not car expert; i didn't know what was going on. a friend of mine said that something was def rubbing. I'm running stock. Nothing was lowered... my tires are narrow 205s.. what's going on?! thanks

buy another car if you want to do donuts..... seriously. Didnt you say you were afraid to floor your car in first gear because you didnt want anything to break?

flooring it in 1st will do a lot less damage than warming up your tires

hmm... lol. like i said. i'm no car person. lol. anyhoo. i'll just stop doing that. damn peer pressure. haha.

i don't see how dounuts are bad.. but heh, if it hurts my car, i'll stop. i really don't see how it does hurt the car though. It's basically "drifting" in a circle.

wonder why so many people do dounuts. must not care about their cars. even if they are nice cars.

i have a few other cars i can kick around, but the RWD on is expensive and my family is trying to dump the FWD one...

i'm spazzed out. my bad. i've been inundated with homework. tripping out a lil. sleep deprevation

do people not slide around in wrxs? i know our cars aren't meant for that... but it's soo much fun. haha. i'm a real p*ssY driver. i'll do two circles then stop. I don't launch hard. I get scared all the time. i also feel guilty about breaking stuff. Even if it's old stuff. it's like a sickness i got from my mom. Can't bear to waste. i guess there is a battle inside me: be a poser and showoff and do dounuts.. or drive more conservatively.

wow. that was a bunch of BS. i need sleep. g-nite. thanks for the tips guys.

IT"S NOT FAIR! I WANNA DO DOUNUTS!

most of the people you see doing donuts have rwd. We have awd and doing donuts isnt the best thing for them.

power steering pump = 0wn3d.

IIRC the manual states you should not have the steering wheel fully turned in any one direction for more than 5 seconds... sounds like you went WAAAAY over that...

Not a good thing...

i just had to get my rear diff changed cuz i was practicing drifting for a while... luckily they fixed it under warranty.. i would think doing donuts would end up doing the same thing. but ya what the other guys said DONT hold the wheel all the way if ur gonna do cheerios. u will burn out ur power steering pump in a few quick seconds.
