Hey,
I have a 97 maxima right now and am looking for a 02+ wrx. The maxima is definitly a great car, if you were to get one be sure to get a 5 spd, but if its only for comuting the auto gets just a tiny bit more mpg.
the 3.5l engine is great but another maxima guy i met with said sometimes he gets like 15 mpg(but when you get the car you just want to floor it
) its a nice torque-y car.
the 4th generation(95-99.5) maximas are the lightest (95-96 the lightest).
