Help with removing stock bumpstops
#17
Did you put the conical washer in the correct orientation?
The rear top hat bolts also came loose when we lowered the car like I expected but now everything is on tight and torqued to the right specs. Thanks everyone!

Notes for your next install :
1) Locate proper instructions
2) Ensure you can comprehend them
3) Print instructions
4) Go Step By Step, no shortcuts.
Now go get your alignment checked

So until you get your alignment (with 0 toe all around) you will be scrubbing tires. And since your camber will be all over the place, you're scrubbing unevenly. Get that alignment asap, or at least set the toe yourself as best you can.

Alignment should be a priority. By changing the ride height, you most certainly changed the toe...

Top hat mount bolts (the 3 outer) and the strut top bolt should always be tightened after the whole suspension has been put on the car and the car OFF the jack/stands (resting on it's own weight at ride height).

Next week(this week) is pretty ASAP I don't think driving the car for 2 or 3 days between spring install and alignment is going to hurt anything. I am glad we caught our errors as well and this is defenantly a lesson to me about being more **** about checking every nut 2 times to make sure it's tight and to torque everything to spec the first time. Having to redo the front and switch the washers the next day was
my punishment
