Okay, so I'm having trouble choosing a topic for an essay I have to write, so I thought I would ask the BAIC. The essay has to explain a concept, be 7 pages, and that's about it.
I just have no idea what I should write about..help me out here, throw some ideas at me

what do you mean by explain a concept? what are some of the ideas you've come up with so far?

and yes, SJSU FTW, I've been doing the JC down here in Monterey but I'm doing the app for SJSU for Fall '08 right now

 

Well two examples that we read were of the chemical and biological aspect of love and Cannibalism in the sense of survival, dietary, and religious.
I haven't come up with much yet as I'm a little lost heh

Thanks for the reply's, I think spontaneous combustion would be a little to narrow to keep the reader interested for 7 pages. I dunno how I didn't think of global warming, thats definitely going to be a top choice.

 

personally i would write about the concept of survival of the fittest/natural selection but i'm not sure it thats a viable essay topic for you.

 

Actually that could be a another choice, I like it. I'm just gunna do a little research on each to see what will be best.

How about the idea of selective detachment and its role in decision making process of law enforcement officers?

 

some of your research on Global warming could be Al Gore's book, his documentary An Inconvienent Truth, some tv programs on History channel as well as the discovery channel. They show programs all the time about global warming or parts of it. Research into the devastating consequences of methane gas being released from the ocean floors due to global warming

 

Good idea, damn this is gunna be easy with so many topics to choose from =P
