Check that out and weigh in with your thoughts if you would. I hate to see poseurs with Subies, and hopefully we can shame this guy into getting the Civic he so obviously deserves.

So why don't you reveal who this *person* really is and what you know about him? If that's all you know about him, there's nothing that says he isn't really a Subie fan with some extra money in his pockets. If he built the L himself before the WRX came out here, I'd say he's been a subie fan longer than a lot of people on this board including myself.

If he's some idiot who doesn't know the first thing about cars and it either throwing $$$ at his cars or flat out lying, then he gets the monkey. It's hard to tell from the information you've given, that's all.

The friend, kellie here on i-Club, has told me that the guy is a total loser. He talks big about things his parents money are going to get him, but doesn't know what things like JDM and RHD really mean. But in any case, I was more looking for thoughts about how to spot the motors- to see whether or not it is the real deal. If it is, then he's got a sweet car. If its not, we all laugh at him and he goes away.
