As for nothing helpful, you've clearly never read a post of mine as that's what 99% of my posts are.

"Not everyone can afford that too". It's the same as asking for someone to help install a bigger turbo but then everyone telling him it's ok to run since he can't afford injectors or a retune. If you can't afford to do it the right way then you can't afford to do it at all.

As for "negative most of the time", are you sure? I guess learning is frowned upon on this forum. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the best answer is not always the one you want to hear. That's today's life lesson for you. If that's what makes me negative I don't know what you want me to tell you. Learn the difference between someone being negative and informative but not always spoon feeding (rather encouraging learning) and telling people what they need to hear (not what they want to hear).

HID optics can be had for cheap. You can get TSX projectors for $150. It's just a matter of knowing how to install them. The difference they make is massive. And keep in mind that this is the only Subaru forum that seems to advocate the use of HIDs without retrofits. Had he posted this on ClubWRX, NASIOC, WRXTuner, IWST, etc then he would have been told not to by everyone. And probably in a hostile manner.

Such maturity. Though I'm glad to see you've learned a 2nd word for your vocabulary.

Oh he can, just as I can install 100w driving lights on my car and return the favor. It's not required for fitment, but it's required common courtesy for other drivers on the road and in the loosest of ways it's required for to maintain legality.

I wasn't rude. I posted solid advice (literally the best advice in this thread since nobody else has a clue what they are talking about) and yet again Heedz comes out swinging. 1 sarcastic post later so does everyone else.

Go read some topics there you might find some friends. You act just like the grown 40-50+ year old men who have outbursts in a public meeting and yet are running for city council.

Btw W0ng3r pmed you.

This.

And this:

Hate to say it, but this thread really shows the culture clash between newer and older members that has emerged over the last couple of years (with one particular member who seems to only show up to start CRAP nowadays -- and I don't mean Brfatal).

Okay whats worse....retrofit HID's on a lowered car, or retrofit HID's on a lifted truck?

Neither if done correctly and aimed the right way.

both, but I think the beam from the lifted truck would be worse, as it would be shooting into your eyes from your rear view mirror.

That's a we bit ironic from you considering you're the one who's always exploding out of nowhere in threads, not I.

Get lost. You come into threads with nothing but junk. Go make your own thread telling people what not to do. Oh forgot you're not even from this area.

Lenses. He can't just toss HIDs in his stock headlights. He needs to replace his halogen optics with HID ones. TSX, S2000, and RX300 are popular choices depending on the fitment.
Yes he can, I did this on my 2012 before I got my STI headlights.

The 2008-2012 have no glare at all.

First hand experience says you're wrong. I'll find pictures and post them later.

At least you're acknowledging that you're wrong now. That's progress.
