Help figuring out this random parking ticket

Help figuring out this random parking ticket
So I got a ticket in the mail today from cal state parks. the ticket says that I was cited for a parking violation on the 6th of October 2013 at 7:26AM.
The thing is, I had a flight at 8:09 from SFO to SEA and I took a cab to the airport.
Never gotten a random ticket like this before, can anyone chime in? Clerical error? someones bull****ting me?
At any rate, mailed in a letter and receipts to prove I wasn't here, >.> <.<
