Hey Everybody-
Well I installed my Blitz FMIC last weekend and my STi V2 lip is nowhere close to fitting with the FMIC. i want to get my lip back on! I was wondering is there a way to mount the lip without trimming it. HELLLLLP!!!!

sorry man but you definately have to cut. I was trying to fit it without cutting but unfortunately I had to do it. And I did it with a carbon fiber v1 lip too;

 

gotta trim it bro... tape it off then cut, it'll help keep the paint from cracking... if you can see picture of davon's car / my old setup... hehe

damn!!! that's what I was afraid of! What did you use to cut it? would a fine tooth saw be the best? Thanks GUYS!!!!

 

I did it with a dremel and a cutting bit, then I sanded down with a fine grit bit.

 

i used a an airsaw... a fine tooth saw should do the job....

edit: i sanded down the edge a little bit also

 

I would say tape the painted side, and dremel would give you the cleanest cut.
