Hella Supertones?
i always use my horn whenever i would pick someone up...relatives, friends, and when i see someone i know on the road, i honk on them too....on top of the poor drivers and to avoid accidents

Yeah...I think I'll drop by DCMP on friday so you guys could take a look. Like I said, I did use the relay and I did have someone honk for me. My friends were excited about the horns and when I honked, they said it was just an "irritatingly loud and piercing" sound. It wasn't scary and jumpy at all. When it was my turn to stand in front, it just sounded like "Ouch." vs. "OH WOW"

i hardly beep at anyone unless they're driving like crap or sleeping at a stoplight.

If you are willing to pay a small fee, stop by one day and I can install a relay and wire it directly to your alternator. It will sound louder than any 6od dam horn you ever heard. PM me.

It's not that the stock horns aren't loud enough. I just thought these horns would look cool and sound just as crazy. They look cool...i guess, and the sound is just not that great.

.. okay, if you think that there is little difference between the stock horns and the hella supers, you really need to check your wiring/hearing. There is a distinctive difference between the two

I have made many a cell phone talker drop a phone because they ignored the green light at an intersection with my supertones.
I have seen some supertones not as loud as others, you might have gotten a bad horn or something.

Edit: Oh and while i gotta get my wiring checked, im fairly sure its wired up properly. I messed up the install one time and I had to redo it, making sure ALL of my female disconnects were secure.

On another note, somehow I feel that the supertones are just an irritating noise that gets people's attention. Hearing ANY horn coming at me, unsuspectedly, I'll get pretty scared. So I'm starting to think that everyone's stories about people jumping out of the way, getting white, etc would happen with pretty much any horn, if you time it right.
