Question Headlight Question

Hey I was wondering if any of you guys have or know of anything that will buff out the stock head lamps on a bugeye? I have a bunch of lil chips and scratch marks from road debris and would like to clean it up if at all possible.

Thx

I just did mine this weekend. I wet sanded them with 2000 grit sand paper then polished them up with an orbital and meguiars clear plastic polish. They look almost new again!

btw...I bought the orbital polisher from kragen this weekend for $12 bucks on sale!

You might want to try getting some Mother's Clear Plastic Cleaner (not the spray version, get the squeeze bottle / polish version). It should clean them up a bit.

You can also try a random orbital buffer on it, but I'm not sure how good that works.

When you get them clean, you may then want to go with a rock blocker for your head lights.

Good luck.

Yeah I used some plexi glass cleaner. Pick some up at auto zone or kragen, I tried target but they did not carry it. It will work wonders!

You can also use it on your windows if you have hard water spots.
