Has HP ever made a product that WASN'T trash?
ugh
I hate HP products. Their cameras are ***, their desktop pcs are ***, they printers suck to all hell.
Recommend me a non crappy brand of printer that I can use. All I print are documents and occasional web page.

Epson printers are great for photos. That's their whole thing is image quality. Canon is next in line, but they're pretty speedy for documents too.
What kind of printer are you looking for?
If you want an affordable photo printer get an Epson R300, if you need an all in one (scanner, printer, copier, no fax) then get the Epson RX600.
If you want a pretty good photo printer with a screen in it, get a Canon i900. Don't get the Canon all in one's, they suck.
Stay away from HP if you plan to print anything with color in it, their crap is expensive, especially color cartridges.
Now if you just want a printer that will print your documents, get the Epson C64, but if you need faster print speed, get the Epson C84.
Prices for the printers:
R300 = 179.99
RX600 = 349.99
i900 = 249.99
C64 = 59.99
C84 = 99.97 with 20 dollar rebate.

got and old HP27 calculator... that rocks... RPN rocks...
bought my mom a refurb HP desktop from frys. she still uses it after like 2 years. only the modem died. no biggie.
so i buy an AMD powered HP desktop. that ran too until like a year or so later when i bought faster sony desktop...

been buying them for work. i actually used one for a 5 person dept as a printer server. that lasted for them until they wanted one that was faster and held more paper...
these days, i have a laser for every day printing. bought a refurb canon i850 inkjet for superb color prints. combine this with my canon 10D camera and the outputs are great up to 8.5x11...
