The R-S3 is going for $135/tire - no rebate.

OR Yoko AD08 for $177/tire.

I'll be using these tires for some track use and daily driving. Which would you pick up?
Of the Three, I'd also recommend the AD08s, but ONLY if you are using them in a competition atmosphere. If this is just for your enjoyment, get the Star Specs.

The new Hankook RS3 is pretty much going to be the tire of choice for Redline street tire class this year as it blows away anything else available with a similar treadware.

Yeah, no personal experience with the RS-3s, but if that's the case, it sounds like Hankook has overcome their heat issues. Hopefully they don't heat cycle out like the RS-2, which, although the tread lasted okay, the grip was long gone, long gone before half way on unshaven. I was down about 7 tenths by event 10 in a 16 event season.

Very few will have experience with the RS3, they're pretty much brand new. The RS2 on the other hand... I've been very happy with them.

No 245/40/17 in RS3

Makes that decision really easy

Agreed, the Neovas are way too soft and way too expensive to be rolling to work and back on. If you want to win at autoX however

I gave in and ordered the Dunlops. The price was about $20 cheaper per tire.
