What kind of thought process do you have to go through to do something like that?

Wait... The guy bought a Ford Escape. 'Nuff said.

I'd feel just like that guy too if I just spent MSRP on a Ford.

that being said....
I sold my 1992 Ford Bronco XLT with 215k on the clock and it ran like the first day it was bought.
Anyone who has a broken down Ford just doesn't take care of their vehicle.

^^^No one takes care of their vehicles. Unless they are an enthusiast or a mechanic.

Because the insurance company will cover it - besides it's good for nothing but a showroom draw anyway - I doubt anyone would walk into that dealership and plop down six-figures to drive that thing anyway. By the time you do that, you have enough $$$ to pony up for a REAL sports car.

Sebastopol Ford had at least three or four of those things on the lot - that's what sunk that dealership even before the economy went south.

Ok, I agree that it's silly for a Ford dealership to have three Ford GT's on the lot at once. However, saying it's not a "REAL" sports car is silly and biased statement to make. If a Ford GT isn't a sports car, what is?
