Thumbs down Had a wild experience with some truck driver!

I've been really down lately, holidays and the economy... I figure since I have an STi and some time on my hands since the wifey isn't really around, so I go for a drive on Polameras...

I drove through it, got to the end, and headed back.... Then this large pickup truck pulls out in front of me (its pitch black out), he jumps in front of me and slams the gas pedal... Note that he had a trailer attached. As we're going along he's driving like a MANIAC... he turns his lights off in like 5 second intervals (its dark!)... The dude is literally drifting his truck on this small road to avoid me passing him... It was something out texas chainsaw massacre... Finally I found a gap to pass him...

In all my years I have never more reckless driving in my life. It was unreal.

Just thought I'd share... and why the hell did he keep tuning off his lights?

maybe your HID's were too bright for him, and he was trying to get you to turn off your "high beams"

way back in the day i used to know some people who shut their headlights off so they could tell if a car was coming or not. When they did this is when it was slight corners or stop signs on hills. They would flash the lights off and if they saw no other lights they would hog the road or run the stop signs.
This is of course way dangerous!! When i was a freshman in high school my close friend lost her brother this way. He was a passenger in a car that did this and happen to be that there was another car coming that shut off their lights too. They both flipped them on at the same time but ended up hitting each other head on. My friends brother died in the accident :/

If this guy was in front of you, Why didn't you just pull over somewhere and let him get ahead of you enough. Didn't seem like you had to try and pass him and personally i wouldn't want someone driving like that behind me. I personally would have just let him go on his merry way and then go about my business.

This advice is priceless; it's not worth risking your life getting into a pissing match with someone like that.
