Ask subie OCD, he's seen my car; I rock SFF stickers in my windows and not I-Club's on my '04 WRX.
I don't have Nasioc stickers... can we be rebels pals?

Thats a very poor comparison. Seriously,ONE off topic thread may work for 10 users in SRIC but there is no way it will work for 100+ users in the BAIC.

what the hell are you smoking? We don't have 100 people in BAIC posting at once. more like 35.

Here is how we see it. This site is not the BAIC, and there is a separate OT section. While it is more than fine to have non meet related threads, or OT social threads, they should have some relation to the section they are posted in, otherwise, why not post it in OT? What is the resistance to posting in OT? All the same people are on the site and it makes it far easier to read threads of actual relevance to this section. For example, If I can across a thread about some random ebay item, or say a news story that has nothing to do with the BA, I would move it to OT as that is where it belongs.

On the other hand, there are plenty of OT threads left here that are of relevance to specifically the BAIC. We are not trying to move everything, just the stuff that has a specific section that it is more fitting to. This is a complete site, not just one section, and for the continued growth and health of the site, it needs to be treated as such. We need to come together as a community and do what is right for the site, not just this section. This is not just for the BAIC. I move stuff from all areas of the site to where it belongs.

So I ask you all that care about this site, if it does not specifically belong here, please put it in the more appropriate section

Maybe not at once but over the course of the day there is about 50 times more activity here than the SRIC.

I'd have to disagree again. # of post in a day here more than likely isn't as much as SRIC. Those guys are pretty active in their daily threads.

Haha, ok, BAIC only has about 20,000 more threads/topics and only about double the number of posts.

Forgive me for not looking at the absolute numbers but it feels like there is 50 times more action in here...

sticker doesnt really do anything. just how you feel. lol

IMO BAIC has been like this for a very long time. and most of the thread on BAIC is OT. with out those OT BAIC is going to boring. is already boring enough, look how many new posts per day. take like 10 mins to read all the new post everyday.

i wish BAIC would be more active than right now. no one really post at the OT thread, because not a lot of people read it. just like our tech thread. when you start a thread there, you have to wait few days to get 1 or 2 reply. same thing with other topics.
