...obviously, they're trying to grow i-club. More members = more income. Which I don't think any BAIC members really care about. Hell, we all know if we want actual answers to tech problems or are looking for parts we go to NASIOC.
BAIC is where we go to hang with and talk to our friends... in our "community".
Man, I swear, you would think I had no work to do today.

I'm honestly surprised at this point that no one has start a BAIC forum.

I'm not saying they should be enforced, only reminding some of those who haven't read them (I admit its been a long time since I had) and pointing out that this is not a club that members run, it is a forum where we are supposed to abide by arbitrary rules that;
1) were not in effect when most of us signed up, and
2) nobody in the "club" had any particular say in how they were worded or what their intent is.
and besides, they got posted on the first page of the thread, who looks there anyway?
I don't know if you all realized, but the BAIC section of i-club is an off topic section. However, it's a chance to discuss off topic things will only your local friends. If you mods keep moving the "off baic topic" threads, there will not be anything left. The only way you can keep BAIC Bay Area specific would be to make the whole section about local meets.
Leave it as is, we have been doing fine for years. We don't need change.

Keeping OT in a few threads seems great to me. Keeps the place super organized and stuff in the Region section like everyone wants. You guys can learn from SRIC.

However, if they were to crack down and start to enforce the rules "by the book" I might actually have something to beotch about

There is a reason why that place gets no traffic and has an anti-flaming sticky post...

Yeah it is kind of funny, kids come in and complain about stuff we've been living with for years, and to be honest, I think the mods have treated us pretty good here, I really don't have much to complain about.

this place has been crazy sometimes, which makes it very entertaining when work is slow - I mean, cmon, all the crazy drama threads sometimes...
What would we do without them?

You guys want local OT to stay in BAIC right? or even general OT to stay in BAIC... Hugo pointed out that SRIC has daily threads which they use to converse for OT stuff. It keeps their section nice and clean really, keeping regional specific stuff in their own threads.

It's also one of the reasons that my friend created a whole 'nother forum in the Sacramento area.

Ask subie OCD, he's seen my car; I rock SFF stickers in my windows and not I-Club's on my '04 WRX.
