BAIC is where we go to hang with and talk to our friends... in our "community".

Man, I swear, you would think I had no work to do today.

I'm honestly surprised at this point that no one has start a BAIC forum.

I posted them because I think they are bunk, there are so many violations of the rules on nearly all of the forums that go un-checked that the so-called rules are essentially useless.

I'm not saying they should be enforced, only reminding some of those who haven't read them (I admit its been a long time since I had) and pointing out that this is not a club that members run, it is a forum where we are supposed to abide by arbitrary rules that;

1) were not in effect when most of us signed up, and

2) nobody in the "club" had any particular say in how they were worded or what their intent is.

and besides, they got posted on the first page of the thread, who looks there anyway?

Leave it as is, we have been doing fine for years. We don't need change.

What threads were moved? I keep local stuff in baic.

I'm getting a wonderful kick out of the fact that most of us oldtimers are in here saying the same thing.

Keeping OT in a few threads seems great to me. Keeps the place super organized and stuff in the Region section like everyone wants. You guys can learn from SRIC.

Yeah it is kind of funny, kids come in and complain about stuff we've been living with for years, and to be honest, I think the mods have treated us pretty good here, I really don't have much to complain about.

However, if they were to crack down and start to enforce the rules "by the book" I might actually have something to beotch about

Wha? You're joking right? Are you suggesting we up the ante on our flaming? Are you encouraging us to turn new i-club members away from the site

There is a reason why that place gets no traffic and has an anti-flaming sticky post...

yes indeed, it put in asterisks for ****.

When I meant it in the verb sense, which technically shouldn't be considered swearing, but here we are....

this place has been crazy sometimes, which makes it very entertaining when work is slow - I mean, cmon, all the crazy drama threads sometimes...

You guys want local OT to stay in BAIC right? or even general OT to stay in BAIC... Hugo pointed out that SRIC has daily threads which they use to converse for OT stuff. It keeps their section nice and clean really, keeping regional specific stuff in their own threads.

Ask subie OCD, he's seen my car; I rock SFF stickers in my windows and not I-Club's on my '04 WRX.
and we cry about that every meet when we make fun of all the newbies that try to post in the SRIC
