Gunze Mr color paint thinner in bay area
I was wondering if anyone knew of a place in the bay that sells Mr color thinner.
the hobby shops i checked doesn't have any.
thank for any help. I'm looking to get some asap and wanted to avoid buying online as it would take a while to get here,
thanks again

Interesting that you found some here, where is D&J Hobby? Mr Color enamels/thinner aren't supposed to be sold/stocked here in the states because they are flammable and toxic. I have to mail order all of mine from either Rainbow 10 in Japan, or Hobbywave in Canada. Even then, Hobbywave will only ship 1 bottle of thinner per package.
What are you working on? I was the North American finalist for the Bandai Action Cup last year, and ended up taking 3rd in Hong Kong.

oh nice they carry those paints there now? I haven't been there in literally a decade since I moved out of the bay. I'll have to pass by there when I head out there for Fanime.
They're near the corner of San Tomas and Cambell, next to the Longs and across the street from wienerschnitzel I think it was. I used to buy all my wh40k minis there.

I love your work so clean. awesome stuff. I can't wait to see the 1/35 scale rx78-2 resin you are building. that must have cost a pretty penny. I've always wanted that kit. but it was so expensive and i'm poor. lol

Thanks!
The one I am working on right now is a commission for a guy in Texas. I do have one myself, but have not started it yet. I was thinking of doing both at the same time, but decided against it. One at a time is more then enough work.
Do you have an examples of your work?
Here's a shot of the foot I was working on today:
