seems like their paperwork from over the years isnt too accurate.
if you walk in their store right now, they have NO guns for sale...
maybe they can get this situation solved...

Thanks.

1. send low cap replacements
2. take out the high caps and you are SOL for magazines. Find them on your own.
Where are you? Maybe someone can recommend a local FFL that they have dealt with?

I'm in south bay/fremont area. I live close to Reed's Indoor Range but I usually go to Targetmasters in Milpitas to shoot. I'm thinking about going to Reeds to ask for the FFL transfer fee. Targetmasters charges $75 for transfer and DROS fee. I want to get a new Sig but it's pretty expensive.

another place is james at ordance outsellers.
http://www.ordnanceoutsellers.com/index.htm
he's a good guy at sig forum. also, dont forget that sig sells "refurbished" or used firearms.
they take the used ones and completely strip it. replace springs and other things that needs to be replaced and if, needed, refinish. sometimes for killer deals. plus since sig did all the work, they have very good customer service.
for an FFL around the fremont area, check IRVINGTON ARMS acrosss the street from the old TRI CITY SPORTING GOODs store.
ask for martin. he frequents another BB i visit, www.calguns.net.
this is another board that EVERy kalifornia gun owner should visit. while you are there, pick up an AR... er, i mean a self loading 223 lower receiver...

as for the "high cap" mags, if you order online, make sure they leave out or have it sent to a relative or friend outside kalifornia (or hawaii or new jersey or massachusets).
also, with sigs, always ask for FACTORY mags and nothing else. non factory mags are okay for range use, but i wouldnt trust my life on them...

no, but they issued a recent "memo" that is now supposedely circulating the PDs in kalifornia.
it scared a few people with certain wordings in it.
some feel it's more a stall tactic by the outgoing CADOJ atty gen, lockyer...
