Gun Shops???
Hi i-club gun crew,
I'm about to purchase my first gun and I'm wondering which shop is good around s. bay/Fremont area? Also are the prices negotiable? And anyone had experiences on ordering guns online and getting transferred?
Thanks in advance for the help/advice...
BTW, I'm interested in the Sig P226, P229, or P2022

I got my sig P220 transferred there and it was easy as pie........except the ten day waiting period! dam waiting period. Hogans was cool but i think they went out of business.

one, for your i-club equivalent, check out www.sigforum.com
very nice people there. i'm same account name there.
second, you need to figure out what caliber you want since the 226 and the 229 can be had in 3 diff calibers each.
the beauty of getting a 40 s&w is that with a simple barrel change, you can get a .357 SIG and nothing else.
but as a starter gun, you can start out with a 9mm. very nice to get accustomed to a 9mm 226, like i did.
third, once you settled on a firearm and caliber, i had nothing but great experience ordering online. usually $100-200 savings. that includes the FFL fees.

I think I settled on the 9mm 226. Where do you order online and where do you transfer it to? Any recommendations? I found a lot of used ones on gunbroker.com but they all come with 15 rd clips. The prices do vary a lot...
Thanks.
