I'm currently building a custom Telecaster with a single TV Jones Bridge pup. It's gonna be pretty sick.

All that gear and I still suck.
TS-808 huh? It is an original? Pretty nice pedal...I have an original of its child pedal.

As for the still sucking...well, most of us out there feel the same way about our skills...especially for the amount of time some of us have played!!!

It's A TS-808 Reissue. Everything tit for tat is original. I like the pedal, it's great for rhythm, adds a really nice bite to the bridge pup. It would probably do much better if I had tube amps. Both of mine are ss. I really like to use it with the Vox. The VOX on it's own is really tinny sounding, very bright, but with the TS it keeps the bite and warms the tone just right. My favorite has got to be the Keeley Compressor. If you don't have one, get one. They rip.

Hey fellow guitar players
Been playing since I was 16 (1996), but in the last couple years, i've been kinda neglecting it...
Went through a Fender Strat (made in mexico), Ibanez RG320, Fender Jag (kicking myself for getting rid of it), and my current setup is a Paul Reed Smith Custom 24 plugged in to a Line6 SpiderIII (75w)...

Favourite bands are Guns N Roses, Metallica, Satriani, Santana and of course Hendrix.

I guess I will list what I have

I started on a cheap acoustic. A year later I saved up and scored myself an Epiphone Les Paul...back before they became popular. I eventually changed all of the pickups and rewired it.

I then picked up an American deluxe strat at a killer price. It is getting the neck swapped right now, as well as a pickup swap. Then ebay came around and I scored a bunch of nice stuff. I have a real nice mexican strat with a Warmoth neck. There are several others, but those are my main guitars.

As for amps I scored a early 70s post CBS Vibrolux with a blackface conversion. Same wiring, same basic amp. I have an Ampeg r212 reverb rocket, and a set of Silvertone 1483, 1484 and 1485 amps...the ones that were popularized by The White Stripes. Plug in a 15" speaker and these amps are one of the best tube amp secrets out there.

I like to play my 1484 in stereo with my 1955 Tweed deluxe and a digitech RP-7 floorboard. The deluxe was bought from a friend. It was covered in red toilet seat covering. I looked at the sticker on the inside panel and it told me the secret of the amp. I had it recovered in tweed, and a local amp guru went through it with NOS (New Old School) caps and tubes. It is a nice warm sounding amp with a moderate break up. Perfect combo with the cleaner Silvertone 1484, especially with a strat and a tube screamer
