Jeezus you guys.

Okay look at those pics agian.

Those are CLEARLY not apartment buildings, they are townhouses and pretty nice ones too. I cant believe the amount of Hatorade around here for this poor guy that got jacked. Theres NOTHING at all wrong with owning a townhose and owning a nice car, its not something to be embarrassed or ashamed of or feel they should only drive a Camry. I know people much older than me that make twice as much as I do that live in townhouses and are happy and have no plans to live anywhere else.

I dont know what the hell mansions you guys live in that you can put down people in townhouses for owning a nice car and laughing when they get jacked but you all need to lighten the hell up!

I wanted to live in MC Hammer's old mansion.

But yeah townhouses/condos are no joke. Some decent ones start at 500-600k and that's just for a small one.

Nice.

I'd buy a GT3 before I bought a house in the Bay Area. That has a lot to do with the fact that I have no plans on staying here forever, though.

It's true that not everyone has the same priorities. But who's says one's is better than the others? It's all about the individual and what fits them.

Sometimes I wish all i had to worry about is a 1 room apartment and low rent. I'd have alot more money
One day you will. If you are saying you own a home, you'll be better off in the future. That's what getting a home is all about, planning for the future.

haha. I'd buy a house (cause they are looking good right now price wise.) and then buy a GT3 later.

To be honest, renting forever doesn't work. Like, at least owning a home (if you are smart and buy when prices are low) means you can own land. Again, all about long run.

But you are right, people can do what they want. People can own town homes, I'd buy a town home... (but I'd use the damn garage, unlike this fellow).

But then again, there are LOTs of people who criticize homeowners. It's vice versa.

Isn't that how it's supposed to be? Buy house first, then buy toys with the equity.

Well, I'd buy the house. then buy another with the equity if prices were low... then sell the other house when prices are higher... then buy the GT3.

In this market I'd be unable to move. That's been a pretty large factor in me NOT buying a house up to this point.
