I actually tried that 3x and the problem either stayed the same or got worst...rockstar screwed up on their first batch im guessing...whatever happens their better be a ps3 update to fix this(if possible) or come out with another shipment asap and exchange our ****ed up copies for it

I just goggled the freezing problem and man theres tons of links due to people having the freezing issue with gta4...rockstar is gonna have a bad name for awhile

Any popular game if u haven't reserved or preordered, always avoid gamestop and best buy. Those are the first places everybody goes to. Target is almost always overlooked when new releases come out.

I have it for PS3 and it hasn't frozen once. Snagged my copy the first day it was out. I just hope it stays that way.

theres an investigation now on why its been freezing for ps3 owners...one idea they came up with is that they think its freezing with the first batch of ps3 that were released

I've gotten a little more into the game and I think it's pretty tight. Once you get the controls down it becomes alot more fun. Definitely better than the game before it.

Yeah love the game.. but all in all same as before with little detail things added.. I thought the cars were tight.. M3s, Levin, SLK, is300(hacka fast)

No freezing yet.. (touch wood). almost feel like calling in sick and play it all day.

Awesome game!!! Got it for the 360 because more of my friends are on the 360. The 360 version did freeze on me once also, when I was trying to connect to multiplayer, but that may have just been the servers.
