by the way ign rated this game a perfect 10(masterful)...the last time a game was rated 10 was zelda I believe?

 

You could always avoid entering the strip-clubs in the game.

What I saw was hardly vulgar. Strippers = chicks in thongs shaking their booties = something I don't object to. This game isn't supposed to be for kids anyways.

 

Wasn't there already a GTA4 liberty city?

 

you're not going to see something like Hot Coffee again. Rockstar may get sued $11k per each copy sold if they did that again due to the ESRB rating (which would be AO instead of M)

As for the game, didn't reserve as I think there will be plenty of copies just like Halo3. Gonna see if Costco has it tomorrow for cheaper (hopefully $49-54) and if they don't, gonna just head to Target since everybody else would be going to Gamestop or Bestbuy.

I think ratings are stupid.. it's just like those Car and Driver awards.. it's all ragged. You pay for advertising.. you get the most rating..

so anyone got a copy instore today without reserving?

I was at bestbuy last night and line up started at 12AM.. is it really that crazy? I am sure there are plenty of copies around.

 

I just picked mine up from my local blockbuster. No reservation or anything. I'm sure blockbuster locations have tons of 'em.

 

For those with both systems, the guy from Rockstar, one of the original guys of the GTA series was in the studio with Live 105 last week. He said that the 360 will have downloadable content and some exclusive online components that the PS3 won't have. So far there is no word whether there will be any downloadable content for the PS3 version.

But he also said that the game is designed to run on the PS3 as far as graphics and everything else. They are pretty much maxing out the capacity of the PS3's system. This is all according to the man himself.

yeah, the Xbox has Dl exclusivity because they paid rockstar a lot of money for that... but the question is for how long rockstar had that contract. it might later be released on PS3

 

I think I'm going to go against my financial advisor's (girlfriend) advice and buy this tonight. I'm too tempted.

 

^^ Just tell her you will be playing the game for the next month and therefore saving money becuase you are not going out and spending money on junk.

 

^^^ thats not going to work... your attention will be on the game... not her, and i think thats whats going to **** her off the most... unless your the kinda person that can put them sticks down when ever life calls.
