GT4 is coming!!!
man i cann't wait to get my hands on a copy. there are a total of 50 tracks and over 500 cars currently in the game; with more on the way. Of course, each car will be fully customizable. due for release around november or december.
GT4 could be the game that will make us grab a Network Adapter. Rumor has it that Sony wants the GT4 Online experience to be more than just racing – a community of car enthusiasts they claim.
watch out kk-meets and baic chat!!!!

Car Info: 2016 Acura RDX ... meh. Um, nice subwoofer?
As for that "online experience", the way PS2 online stuff works (So I've been told by game store nerds) is each game has its own online service that you have to subscribe to (i.e. pay for individually). What a load of crap! I'm talking warm, wet saggy pants kinda load of crap! Why can't SOMEONE who isn't involved with UNIX not pattern something after Microsoft, geez.
All Sony had to do is allow you to connect an ethernet adapter through the PS2's USB ports, allow you to set an IP address and provide a Quake-style intercative client/server setup API to the game makers... freakin cake.
If they keep it the old way for GT4 and you wanna race me... bring your freakin card to my house
