yeah, filing for bankruptcy doesn't mean the end of GReddy/Trust. they'll probably get bought out. SSR is a way smaller company and went through the same thing when Tanabe scooped them up.

But I'm also not sure how much of the company is U.S. based and how much is still based in japan. I figure since they noted the dollars in... well dollars it must be something to do with U.S. taxes not japanese tax laws.
So yeah... that sounded fishy to me.
I'd bet they'll be bought out by a smaller name and that smaller company will take over the greddy/trust product line. Kind of like SBC buying AT&T then becoming AT&T when it was already once upon a time AT&T before it became SBC.
Yeah for big business tax loop holes.
