Great Stereo Installation in San Mateo Area - Suggestions?

Looking for an ipod interface, amp, and upgraded speakers in my '96 Impala SS. Needs to be installed next weekend while wife is out of town.

Suggestions as to who/where to go?

Thanks

Alan

I personally buy stuff from pacific stereo in Redwood City they hook it up for me, then I install myself. If I went in with you, they'll give you a decent price, how much are you looking to spend? Single or double din? Component speakers?

i like how you said must be installed next weekend while wife is out of town! lol and im assuming you want to keep the stock head unit to not be so obvious to your wife that you have upgraded a "few" things in the car. I wish i could help but i have no recommendations on stereo shops.

If you're gonna be going with stock headunit. Its better than a sound processor installed but integration with it really sucks. Having an aftermarker is much better. If you want help I'm near so. Do you know what size speakers they are? I could give you some suggestions on what items to get and what amp to pair with. Feel free to pm me. I've gone through plenty of installs. Better to do it yourself because its pretty expensive on labor when its actually very simple once you do it.
