I don't know how the hell N2O can be legal for street use. There's one purpose, straight lining, most likely from a street light. It's not like a 75 shot is going to give you any kind of decent get up and go at freeway speeds it's not going to help pull you through a turn... it's plain and simple built for wack *** straight line driving. The first question I'd have to ask anyone stupid enough to buy one of these is, "Why not just a WRX?" In the long run, filling up your stupid bottle is going to cost more anyway.

or the cosworth focus...but then I'd be bummed.
That thing is sick. If I remember right it's a bit bigger. 300hp and all wheel drive.

"At the bottom of the list are the following three words: nitrous compatible elements._ Basically this is shorthand for an engine that will come “nitrous ready” with everything you need to melt the front tires except for a full nitrous bottle, the main hose to the engine and a couple of jumpers to hook up the wiring."
Now that is a funky catch. Comes with Nitrous equipment but it's not installed?

So wait a minute...
If i buy this Saleen im paying $6k as compared to the SVT focus?! So in short im paying $6000 for: 2 swaybars ($300 max), one strut tower bar ($100), a N20 'ready kit'
, and riced-out looking saleen bodykit?!
And on top of that im going to pay you that extra $6000 compared to the SVT for you to take away 6th gear and 18hp?!
Am I missing the logic here?
I think the SVT has a mean sleeper look... it's a much nicer little package IMHO.

Yeah, if i wasnt so bent on AWD, i would buy a focus for sure. Have you guys ever driven one? They are a hoot to drive, and feel really really solid for being an american made egg shaped car. The SVT is super nice looking, especially with the rally style headlights.

Yeah the SVT is fun to drive. Specially with a couple of suspension upgrades.
BUT>>>>BUT>....it's a piece of ShiZZa.
Something like 400 recalls. My buddy has the z3 or whatever it is. Been in the shop at least 7 times....3 times in the first 2 months with serious problems. Like not running at all.
Not a very well made car at all. if I want a fun little FWD to drive I'll buy and old GTI or civic hatch and swap a b18 in it. Ford small cars equal pieces of crap.

Yeah everyone in my family used to be a Ford owner (not anymore) because they built a decent car. My grandmother had a solid tempo with 350k+ miles without a problem. Now you're lucky if your ford doesn't have paint problems in a year.
The quality control on Fords is for **** now. It went downhill after the mid 80's with the cars and in the 90's for the trucks when they changed the design of the F-series to that 'round look'. They should have kept the 'boxier' look like the GMC.
The only type of american vehicle i'd want would be a truck and you couldn't pay me to buy a POS ford truck.

no joke.
I had an 88ford ranger. Xtended cab. xlt.
I loved that truck man. Clean as hell. I had to wash the thing like twice a week and wax it a minimum of once a month to keep the paint clean...but I got some pictures around somewhere of when I smashed it.....just detailed it the morning I wrecked it...clean as hell.
never had problems...shoot once I was changing the belts...it got dark. I put all the new belts on except the alt belt....I was driving some place that night....snapped the alt belt. Opened the hood. Had to cut out every belt except teh drive belt. Car fired up and drove right on home.
Great little truck...
Now....now I wouldn't touch most any ford.

Is this really not an overdue april fools joke? Seems like the NHTSA or the EPA would have something to say about factory nitrous equipment.
