Great Mechanic in San Francisco

Can anyone recommend a really good mechanic they recommend for Subaru WRX's. I'm looking for someone that has worked with lots of Subaru's to take care of basic oil changes and maintanence things. The dealer just costs too much.
thanks for your help

Not in SF, but if you want to goto Novato, LIC Motorsports is highly regarded here on this board. There is no better shop for installs and maintainence if you ask me.

There isn't really. But you don't need a specialist for that stuff. Find a local mechanic that you like. Heck, with a Fumoto valve, oil changes are a sinch.

But yes, bring the big jobs to LIC

Carlsen kept saying to me whenever i went in "Oh we're going to have our own loaner pool any time now". That was a couple of years ago. 1/2 off rental is chump. Why anyone would drive down from San Francisco to San Carlos to pay 1/2 on a rental car, unless they were forced to? (and then have to drive back).
