I just did the RX-7 one for the 2nd series, and it was cake with a fully modded RX-7. From what others have posted, they changed the rules for this 2nd series of races? What was it before?
certian weight, crappy tires, and certain HP

all i did was after they took the regulations away was put on race soft

Right now i'm 11 a-spec and 3 b-spec. my driver freakin SUCKS!
i have to give him a super powerful car(compared to whats on the track) in order to win. but i can't justify modding the hell out of a car i'm going to use for on race =/

+ it's complete BULL**** that when I want my driver to pace up, or overtake, he immediately brakes when I send the command. I really hope this is just coincidence, and not an AI flaw.
So cal was up til after 12 doing the S2K racing. You should add some of them.

agreed 100%. You use to have to have every lap be a hot lap and you had to be on it. It was challenging and awesome!

So, it was basically the same as the first series of races. I agree that the restrictions made it more fun, instead of just a way to easily get money and exp. Although, I feel the GT-R race was next to impossible with the restrictions they had (at least with my driving skill, hahaha).

Yeah, it was a nice challenge to figure out the right suspension settings,etc.etc. I'm sure they'll bring it back if people cry enough on GT Planet.
Has anyone done the new Seasonal with the Audi TTS ? Worth it ? How much does 1st get ?
TIA

Yeah i crunch the number and all of htem pay more than you buy/ set the car up with minimal mods; race soft first weight reduction and a little power

even the ford GT can be bought and lightly moded and double your money back

My new rule is this: No race tires, no engine mods but ECU is ok, only stage one weight reduction. Window and hood WR are fine. Only 2 exhaust mods. And of course, no turbo or supercharger kits If that does not get me there, then either stage one turbo or engine is ok.

Anyone know if there is ever a chance of Sears Point and Thunderhill being included in the game and why not? I seriously LOVE running Laguna just because I have actually been on that track so much. Thunderhill is my all-time favorite though, and it would be so awesome just to play the game on a virtual T-Hill.

At the most Sears Point like they did in GT4. I hope they make it a DLC.
I doubt Thunderhill since it's just a local SCCA track but I'd love to do it too since I've been on it.
