Im guessing Pick n Pull (and the like) will only give you a couple hundred dollars for it. And you can donate it for a tax write off, but two things will hinder that putting money in your pocket.
First off, you need to donate a certain amount a year before you start to see a refund on it and more importantly the laws have changed and you would only get what goodwill could auction your car for.
so if you drop it off tomorrow it might be a month or two before they auction it off and after they sell it they will give you a receipt of the amount they got. So basically, its not worth the write off. Only good for your conscience lol

I don't plan to get a replacement car anytime soon. Maybe 3-5 years from now.
