Be a man and take the punishment, what is so hard about that? You sped, don't be a little ***** and try to weasel your way out of it.

Oh wait, I'm sorry, I forgot! You're you! You should be able to bend the laws without consequence. No need for you to take responsibility for your actions! That'd just be silly!

So he should lie about financial hardship but not about how fast he was going? I don't understand why you are a man for owning up to speeding even though you lie about your financial situation in your attempt to get a fine reduction, if he mentioned something about money problems I'm 100% wrong.

The cop lied about his real speed, one good turn deserves another.

I'd say that would about make the situation 'right'.

It all comes down to whether you incriminated yourself or not. If you admitted to speeding, then say you were going 75 and ask for a reduction. If you are completely certain that you did not mention your speed, then fight it to the end.

I doubt the cop's buddies are telling him to "man up" and admit that he wrote the ticket for 10 mph faster than you were actually going

If you were going a safe and reasonable speed for the conditions, then you were doing nothing wrong in the big picture (but not legally). You are just the next guy to fund the State's inability to balance the ****ing budget.

haha since when do people pull out their man cards in regards to a speeding ticket??

Honestly dude, even the title to your thread = incrimination

If you saw the cop coming why the hell didn't you slow down to 65??

Seriously, you need to just stop posting tell you get a IQ above that of a fruit fly.

OP: you broke the law, accept it, go to court, say you acknowledge going 75 in a 65, take the charges, pay it, do traffic court and move on. Be a man about it.

come on guys, don't get all worked up. I was just pissed i got a ticket written for 10mph faster then i was actually going, by a cop without a speed gun, or factual proof i was going 85.
I dont mind paying and doing the traffic school for the 75mph I was going, but 85 almost doubles the fine and makes it harder to get a reduced ticket. I also feel that if the cop did know I was going 75mph I would have not gotten pulled over at all.

and oh yah, Rau, what have I said to act like a *****, I thought this was an open forum to talk about car related stuff. Maybe you should grow up and not be so quick to insult.

Not get worked up? This is i-crud, everyone is an authority here.

I think you got pulled over not because you were going 75, but because you continued to go 75 when a CHP was on your ***.

Why he said 85, I don't know, maybe a little extra twist of the knife since you didn't drop to the limit when you saw him?

If you werent acting like one, you would admit you broke the law and pay up. Instead of finding a way to get out of it. If that the case, tell me where you live so I can jack all your **** and ***** about it until I find a way out of it. Or is that not breaking the law too?
