thanks!
i am truly excited. it is funny. driving it is like being right back in any of my old subies. same quirks, noises, etc. cracks me up....
so, it has these all season tires that HAVE TO GO!!!. but my wife AND parents (who live next door, dark garage and house in background of pics) are all over me on the "moding habit" i have. ugg. all i want is 17x9 torques with 245 bridgies....is that too much to ask???? and suspension, and a reflash and exhaust....thats it....i am doomed...
so from now on, y'all are my "sponsors" and that is why i have to go to the Bay. to show my car. something like that....

PS: Congrats x 10000! I'm so happy for you! This is such a big deal! Having an STi VS a WRX is HUUUUUGE! I know some people get a WRX and "transform" it into an "STi", or so they think... They change the exterior bits and add an STi intercooler and think it's an STi... WRONG! The STi is a much different car with a SLEW of completely different parts from each other! Almost everything is different and much beefier on the STi. The drive completely different and feel like different cars. I had an 06 WRX and now have an 07 STi and speak from experience.
CONGRATS MY FRIEND! We've both come a long *** way from our old school RS's with minimal aftermarket support and our very small group of friends and our weekly install fests. Our subie world has changed drastically and I'm really glad you're still part of it man! You're def one of the oldest members (not in terms of your age, but in terms of how long you've been here. In case you didn't know, Josh was member number #5 on NASIOC/ Original i-club)

A key? remember that our cars come with an immobilizer inside the actual key, without the immobilizer you can't drive the car or even start it. The older STi's didn't have the immobilizer and neither did the WRXs, so Im pretty sure you can't use that key.

Older? What STI that is available in the U.S. is older than the 04-05?
