Got Springs !
Ok so I ordered springs. They should come in today. Which is cool because I have the day off to study. It's bad because I'll be sittin here all day waiting for them like a kid at Christmas!
Eibach Pro-kit.--
1. How hard are these to put in?
2. Need an alignment after? I'm guessing yes, but not sure.
Anything I'm missing in this equation?

They aren't too bad to put in, or I would assume so. About 6 bolts for each corner. 3 on top, 2 on the hub/strut point, and one each for the ABS and brake line. You should probably get your hands on a spring compressor, air tools, and a few friends to help.
And yes to the alignment part. You should get an alignment every time you mess with the suspension of the car. Definitely plan ahead and think about what other parts you might spend in the near future before you decide to get an alignment.

They're pretty easy to put on if you have the right tools, especially a breaker bar. You'll love gettin rid of that horrible fender gap. If you're nearby and need help lmk, I haven't been able to work on a car for awile and it's killin me =P

We basically did this for his install fest. Air tools helped a LOT for the top nut.
I read this guide and found it helpful.
Edit:
We had a hard time getting the strut back into the hub. However, I only lifted one side of the car. Lifting both sides might have helped. Maybe someone can confirm?

Oh. Call Auto Innovations. I think they have a spring install and alignment special. It is so reasonable, it isn't even worth doing your own install.

Also, an impact gun will make the top hate nut much easier and a spring compressor for these arent really necessary, I find that using a compressor is usually just a waste of time if you're careful.
there no bolts in the rear. with the change in suspension, why would you not spend about $30 on camber bolts for the rear. And what's the cost difference in alignment? $20?
kinda silly not to since it's all apart and he is going to spend money on an alignment anyway.

I don't know if i'm just newbie but when i installed mine i forgot to mark the alignment of the front top hats and struts. I had to readjust until i got it just right. It was a pain to do.. so.. make a line straight down from top hat to strut so you know where to reassemble etc.
Air tools is a PLUS because that top bolt is a PAIN! I did it with a rubber wrench.. took me forever though.

there are stock eccentric bolts in the front, so he will be able to get more neg camber.

if u want SPOT ON alignment settings....of course get camber bolts/plates.
if u want within specs, using just the front stock eccentric camber bolts will do just fine, leaving the rears without camber bolts.
that's my 2cents.
question 1) it's really easy, esp if u have air tools. if not, at least get a breaker bar.
question 2)i'd recommend it to prevent uneven wear on your tires.
