Uh, yeah, call the cops. If you go an attack the guy and get caught you'll be spending time in jail and if you can't prove what you claim he did, he'll get off scott free.
A friend of mine got shot at in a similar situation minus the taunting on 101 some time last year. His friend was shot to death in his passenger seat.
Doing stupid stuff on the road is uhh, stupid - however there is NO reason to be shooting at someone. Maybe it did happen, maybe it didn't. It's a crazy effin world.
