Mann carried Total but stopped carrying it. They now sell OEM Subaru full synthetic oil, which I think would be nice to see numbers on as well. I just bought a 12qt case.

Three sounds reasonable to me too. One change means the motor will still have residual from the previous oil that was in there and that will definitely skew the results.

Thanks for posting this. I've been reading about these oil analysis programs for a few years now but have never really known anyone who has gone through the process. What were the cost and turnaround time?
