The gopro is already light enough, with weight you get a steadier shot.

And the size is fine. Any smaller and you can compromise battery life.

I don't know, I'm pretty pissed at GoPro because they haven't finished the WiFi app yet. As far as I'm concerned this is pretty much worthless until they get the app running. It's been in development for a LOOOOOOOOONG *** time.

word, reason why i bought my hero2 about 8 months ago. i just checked the site and the app is available for iphone users but not yet for android platform.

i think its kinda bull that there was advertising saying the app would work with the hero1 with the wifi backpack and with the hero2 without the backpack and now its required. pretty lame.

i plan on using the preview hero app while crabbing and dumping the camera in with the trap and bait and finding out exactly when crabs are in there to pull up the net.

Never thought about using a gopro for crabbing lol. While at New Orleans during mardi gras I came across a store clerk with a gopro strapped to his chest. He said it helped a lot with deterring theft and grab and runs, etc. Except for when you come across a crook with half a brain that decides the thing he wants to steal is that fancy gopro and cuts it off your chest lolz.
