Gopro external mic questions
Anyone have personal experience with an external mic on a Gopro? Looking to buy one for a friend but was wondering if anyone had or has personal experience with one brand.
How much do you want to spend and what kind of stuff does your friend shoots? There's a whole bunch of microphones that are bunch of different sizes.
The Rode microphones are quite good.

Used for driving mainly but maybe used for basic filming. Was looking to spend no more then $30-$40 something cheaper no too high end and preferably a smaller mic.
Do you want to mount the microphone next to the GoPro? Is the GoPro going to be inside the cabin or outside? Mike and Sione had a good GoPro external microphone setup.
