I just bought a $40 mic and cam combo thing to talk to my friends over skype and let me tell you..it sucks hard.
Whats a good mic and webcam for under the $100 range? I'm sick of getting junk.

You will probably want a high megapixel webcam by logitech

this one has 30 frames per second which should be good for skype..

and it totals well under 100 bucks and should be great for skype.

 

Thanks evo, I'm gunna go to frys tomorrow and see what they have. I was mostly worried about the mic because it's hard to tell how well it will perform just from the box. I had a set of plantronic audio 90's that worked well but I'd rather not have the wear a headset.

 

+1 for that exact logitech, my friend and i got one when our friend went to the air force, almost 2 years ago haha, its still good i guess...i mean its great, but i guess its still the one to get.

 

yeah I'll definately pic that webcam up, probably from amazon. Thank god for skype, it makes it so much easier to keep in touch with friends at away colleges.
