Verizon lets you do mobille to mobile for free txt in the network unlimited free. and if you get the right plan like me free txt unlimited to anyoen for a couple bucks. this includes pictures and videos not to mention all the i-club surfing i can do on my phone.
i think with the unlimited web (which includes a lot of stuff you would have to DL normally is free with it) unlimited txt, pic, video, aim, i-club messaging unlimited is like 20 bucks on top of my plan. the only people that cant recieve pictures from me are people who have the iphone.
plus verizon has awesome prices the longer you have them. i have had them since 1999 or 2000. for 3 lines (my wifes, mine, and my 1 and a half year old son {he is allready ballin})unlimited everything on all 3 I pay like $135 a month plus my wifes gov't discount.

I've noticed that my friend who has an iPhone has a VERY hard time getting my Pix messages.
That and everyone I know with AT&T take about 2 hours to receive/send pix between us (sometimes even txts).

i just got the g1 yesterday. i gotta say so far im really enjoying it. i cant really compare it much to the iphone because ive only used the iphone one or 2 times but those times ive been really fustrated with it.

I'm in a phone quandry right now. My SK2's keys have just started to give grief. I've had it for a long time and, although it still works, it has no bluetooth and it is very underspec'd compared to modern phones.
I like iPhone 3G but don't want AT&T.
The G1 looks very much like a 'first-try'. Although it has many cool features and the open OS is a plus, I think I'll avoid it for the moment.
I could just get a new SK, or I guess I could try and fix up the SK2 and see if any more androids get released in the next year. Hmm.
