I'm looking for a good game store. No, not video games. The old kind with pieces and boards and such. I'd like to get a new chess board. Anyone know of such a place?
Thanks in advance for all the wonder advice and all the useless awesome.

what kind of chess board are you looking for?
I bought my travel board/pieces years ago from wholesalechess

I have Super Staunton Collector Chess Pieces - 4" King, and they are quad weighted, meaning they weigh 4 times more than tournament pieces
and a normal sized vinyl rollup tournament board, blue/white squares with a cool carrying bag

You'd think so, but I was at Toys R Us down the road and they have almost nothing in the way of games. Their chess sets were those 100/1 game things and I don't really want the extra crap.
Gamescape on Divis in SF between page & oak!

Target or Walmart should have the basic chess set in their board games section.
I do remember Valley Fair having a board game store years ago, but not sure if it's still there.
Settlers of Catan FTW!
