Hey I'm trying to find a good floral shop in Fremont, Newark or Union city... gonna be picking up some flowers for my gf cause she like surprises like that as do most all girls. There used to be a good place near my house but they went out of business a while back, so lemme know if theres any shops around I should check out first. Thanx.

I went to the asian type one off mission blvd. Can't remember what it's called but it's in the shopping center with albertson's and mission valley coffee roasting. Down towards Mission high school kinda.
Really cool people. I bought a really nice bamboo there. Though my girl friend has since chopped it up and killed most of it...... but they have some really nice stuff in there....
There are some really cool ones around. Check the phone book or the internet I found a bunch for Vday.
on a side note....if you want to surprise her you might consider something besides a flower or two..... like bamboo. A really nice bamboo can be reasonable...$40-65 and they last a lot longer.
I spent $150 on a flower set up for my girl friend a while back....dead in like a week...lame. She was way into the bamboo. brings good fortune and is a little different and lasts a lot longer.
if you're really desperate...get on bart. Take it to SF. Get off on the montgomery station exit. Walk up to the flower lady there...nice little shop. Awesome awesome flowers. And reasonably priced...you can get way carried away and spent $150 like I did or you can spend $40 and get a rad set up. They have lots of cool greenery. Sun flower...dyed sun flower...different flower than you'd find in a normal flower shop.....much much cooler stuff. Just plain old roses is cool sometimes but stuff like this are fun to throw in....more thought.
i've gotten flowers from the girl there quite a few times. For my mom. (rich and insanely picky) for friends, girl friend....etc..... Every single time without failure they are stoked out of their minds and ask where I got them.
Until now it's been top secret. haaa.
just remember...lillies are your friend.

Angel Flowers
a few stores down from the Newark Tapioca Express
My bro has been a loyal customer there for YEARS now. Ever since he had a crush on his girl, and now, through many bouquets of roses and other arrangements, they're married and he still has flowers delivered to her work through them. I ordered some roses for a friend from there also. Great people, great delivery service (quite punctual), and their flowers are super fresh and beautiful.

^ Lol.. actually I didn't do anything wrong, I've been doing everything right...and surprising her w/ flowers is just me continuing to do the right thing. Anyways she's really more into stuff if she doesn't expect it, loves the element of "surprise"... so I was gonna go get her some flowers and catch her off guard.

However, what caught my eye wasn't the flowers. If I'm correct, that flower lady was pretty cute.
I stepped off the Montgomery BART station a while back and I saw her and her shop. I was like... "wow! that's quite a beautiful scene with her surrounded by the flowers" in my head.I hope we're talking about the same flower shop as well. If it ain't, I think everyone would be like... WTF!? EW!! Even if it is the same one, for all I know she was a tempt and the regular flower lady is an old woman.
Anyways, thought I share cause she was brought up and I have nothing to hide from i-club.
Don't go out there just to check her out though LOL
