Whew.

Trust me...if you want to read my rants...search for my name on the other place. They are overpriced and do a crappy job.

Vincent has great deals for i-club members. It'll be hard to find a better deal for an great tint job. It's worth the drive out to Livermore.

No problem. I've heard nothing but good things about this place:

http://www.californiaautotint.thewavemedia.com/

They did my friend's A4...a _bit_ pricier but a VERY nice job.

There is also a place in Concord (?) called Discovery Tint that is supposedly very good, and another in Redwood city area whose name is escaping me. If you search for tinting in BAIC on NASIOC (make sure to set date filter back further than 30 days)...there should be some good advice.

As far as I know...you can tint the back three windows as dark as you want, even limo. You cannot put ANY tinted film on the windshield (duh!) or the front side windows (unless you have clear UV blocking film applied). For reference...my car and my wife's wagon have been tinted all around (including the fronts) for almost a year and we've never been stopped. If you do it and get pulled over, just make sure you roll down the window...cops are really scared about not seeing the driver.

Yeah, there is a place called Omega Werks. But the thing is, he is in Livermore. The best damn tint jobs around. Give him a call and ask for Vince.

let me know how your experience will be at Omega. I will most likely go there as well. Do you have to drop your car off or can you wait while they do it? What % are you getting?

Cheers!
