Bunch of random pics from the last couple weeks of stuff finalized, stuff in progress, and a nice large turbo that will start fab on soon.

GST Motorsports 07-13-2012 08:48 AM

Not in a desperate rush have a few things to iron out on the new setup first.

What turbo is that? The comp cover looks huge but the wheel not so much.

kmurphy 07-13-2012 09:08 AM

Running a new turbo or a complete new turbo setup? The turbo is a bw s466 with a billet Wheel and .9* something ar twinscroll housing.... Shotting for 800 hp

GST Motorsports 07-13-2012 09:34 AM

It's a whole new engine and turbo setup geared towards 1000whp.

So finally giving my e30 some attention even though the sti needs it way more. After over a week of adding 3 gallons of bondo to the severly dented roof and sanding it I finally got it ready to be used as a mold/template for the carbon replacement. I will be caging the e30 and will cut off the roof once its ready to be welded and then install the carbon roof once that is done.

man with all these projects going on,any idea on when you might start breaking ground on a n54 downpipe? i was going to pull the trigger on a vrsf set but im holding off for a little longer.

and another thought was a charge pipe..

and this maybe a total waste of your skills but im looking for someone to make some rockrails for my f250 using 2-2.5" dom

kmurphy 07-31-2012 02:16 AM

The n54 downpipes are a much bigger fixture to build and im also not quite sure if Id rather build them off the fixture or on a actual vehicle. making a fixture of an oem part only does so much. I get accurate start and and end points as well as fixturing oem bracket locations. The negative aspect is it doesnt tell me how I can improve the oem routing or how far away i am from something if I choose the oem routing and use large diameter tubing.

Made the first part for the new truck. 3.5" turbo inlet pipe that then goes up to 4" piping. Polished it all today and dropped it off to get powdercoated. Hopefully it comes out nice since I went with a color thats out in left field for me.
