I was up weekend before last riding in knee deep pow.

The base has dropped about 10 inches since then but most of that will be back this weekend. Need a big feb through april.

I was up at Tahoe this past weekend and it felt like spring. 60 F

Snow on the Mnt. was OK...but nothing to drive on.

yeah we had 2 one week or so long heat streaks in january. Sucked. 80 degrees in January... WTF. I mean I had shorts and a tshirt on for gods sake.

but it has been like that for the last few seasons. really warm january.

I made it to Sugar Bowl about 10:30 this morning. logged 19,500 feet of vert before calling it a day at about 3.
Conditions were a bit sketchy- not that much new snow, and the wind kinda f-ed up the little there was, but some of the tree skiing was nice, and maching down the groomed runs is always a good time.
The top of Mt Lincoln was a total white-out all day, but the lower mountain was just windy.

Didn't see a ton of subies, one WRB WRX in the lot not too far from my car and got passed by one or two on the way home.

Was at Sierra-at-Tahoe. Saw tons of WRX and STI's. Ran into some kids with a STI in the "B-Bear" parking lot. Left about 2pm. Got there around 9am. Hella winds today.
