Lemon Law (Song-Beverly Warranty Act) is only applicable during the first 18 months or 18,000 miles.

As long as you have proof that the problem occurred before the warranty expired, you are covered legally. Of course, you may have to use an attorney to enforce your rights.

^This...If the problem is documented they have to honor it.

I went through the same crap with my LGT and the well known reflash issue. Subaru of SC aknowledged there was a problem, but SOA would not. SC would tell me that my ecu wouldn't accept an updated reflash, while when I talked to SOA they claimed it already had the update (my car was built a year BEFORE the latest update lol.) Long story shorter I *****ed enough and the finally replaced the ECU...

Got an attorney. Norman Taylor and Associates... They wrote the lemon law for California, and they are the best, period. Only problem, I bought my car in New Mexico, so I would have to sue there. And, lemon law is based off 120,000 miles in Ca. So even if I win they divide value of car by 120,000 miles, so my car is only worth about $2,000 dollars if you do the math, so I am screwed.

Sounds like you know these guys... I really dont have a problem with Subie of SC, Ronnie, and Mark are good guys. They didn't go to bat for me over the two and a hlaf years I have been dealing with this. But Will told me that subaru says I should use 15-50 oil, which is a lie. I saw Robert test driving my car through a yellow light at +20 miles over the speed limit. (and he told me my motor issues were my fault for not breaking my motor in)
