<sigh> and so it ends for the Lake Show. they came back to make it respectable w/a couple mins to go but just didn't have enough firepower or D to close the gap. it was basically KB+Lamar vs ALL the whole game (and season). there's going to have to be a lot of changes this offseason if they're gonna get back to title-contending form.
we NEED a competent PG that can take penetrate/put pressure on the defense+take some of the scoring pressure off KB+most importantly, GUARD the other squads' PG's. we also need a dude w/a force down low+in the middle, preferably a dude w/a mean streak. Kwame+Bynum+Luke are just too dang cotton candy soft. oh, and a pure shooter that can CONSISTENTLY drop em in from 18+ out is sorely needed as well. man, Kupcake better earn his $$$$ this offseason OR ELSE!
oh well, at least the Warriors are still in it this year. hopefully they can rebound from the heartbreaker last game and take care of biz tomorrow.

btw, not confirmed yet, but some dude from LA on another board said he heard on the radio that the Lake Show just released Smush Parker. (no surprise but i guess Kupcake felt the pressure and knows he has to get the ball rolling ASAP)

unfortunately, due to holiday shopping, I couldn't check in to see this thread being brought back from the depths (thanks, Marc) i'll be sure to be ready w/the pre-game banter (smacktalk) next time the squads meet tho.
anyways, nice game by the Lake Show. KB had a slow start but stuck w/the gameplan and kept getting the rest of the troops involved until he went back to being CLUTCH KOBE in the 4th. Bynum's finally giving us some good production. i'm still salty that we didn't trade the kid for KIDD last season, but that's water under the bridge. hopefully, young fella will keep progressing.
